Farm-Made, Harvest-Fresh

Every jar on our market shelf starts in these fields. Yellow River Farms has been turning surplus harvest into small-batch pantry goods since the family first opened the market — preserving the season so you can bring it home long after the last frost.

Made from ingredients grown right here along the Yellow River or sourced from trusted local growers, our jellies, jams, raw honey, and pumpkin butter are available in the market store throughout the season. Come in, taste a sample, and stock your pantry the old-fashioned way.

Pick Up Canning Tomatoes While They're Ripe

If you put up tomatoes every summer, you already know the difference fresh-from-the-farm fruit makes. Yellow River Farms grows and sells canning tomatoes at peak ripeness no supermarket cold chain, no early harvest. Just red, ripe tomatoes ready for your stockpot and water bath canner.

A bushel from our market goes a long way:

  • Classic crushed tomatoes and whole-pack jars for winter pasta nights
  • Chunky garden salsa to last you through the holidays
  • Slow-cooked marinara portioned into quart jars for the freezer
  • Tomato juice and soup bases for quick weeknight meals

Canning tomatoes are available during peak summer harvest. Quantities are limited by the season, so stop in early or check back often during July and August. Our market staff is happy to suggest amounts based on how many jars you're planning to put up.

Take the Harvest Home

A jar of our jam, a bottle of raw honey, or a tub of pumpkin butter makes a gift that travels. Whether you're loading up after a fall visit to the pumpkin patch or shopping the market mid-summer, Yellow River Farms pantry items are the kind of take-home that people remember and come back for every season.

They're small enough to tuck in a bag, personal enough to feel handmade, and practical enough that nobody is disappointed. Pick up a few extras while you're in  friends, neighbors, teachers, and houseguests will thank you.
